Program Description
The Low Income Weatherization Assistance Program was established in 1977 to assist low income persons reduce their utility bills by providing for various energy conservation measures. With the exception of multi-family buildings (5 or more units per building) assistance is provided free of charge and no liens or financial obligations are placed on individuals receiving assistance.
General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the State of Nevada, your household's annual income before taxes must not exceed $15,312 if one person lives in the household; $20,532 if two people live in the household; $25,752 if three people live in the household; $30,972 if four people live in the household; $36,192 if five people live in the household; $41,412 if six people live in the household; $46,632 if seven people live in the household; and $51,852 if more than seven people live in the household.
