Portland, Ore. –Bonneville Lock and Dam will stop water flow through its spillway for about four hours to conduct a hydrological survey, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced. The Corps will survey the spillway and its structure beginning June 23 at noon.
Anglers are notified that the Boat Restricted Zone remains in effect during the closure and they should exercise caution when operating boats near Bonneville Dam, especially during shutoff and restart of the spillway flows.

Bonneville Lock and Dam is located 40 miles east of Portland. From Portland, follow Interstate 84 to exit 40 to reach Bradford Island Visitor Center, or follow Washington State Route 14 to mile post 40 to visit the Washington Shore Visitor Complex.
