About Contract Policy

Contract Policy is designed to manage the nation's investments in the technologies, programs, and product support necessary to support the United States Armed Forces consistent with our National Security Strategy.

In that context, DoD's objective is to acquire quality products that satisfy user needs with measurable improvements to mission capability and operational support, in a timely manner, at a fair and reasonable price.
