The Read 180 Program and DoDDS Pacific/DDESS Guam :
Read 180 is a comprehensive, researched based, reading intervention program for struggling readers designed by Scholastic.  The program addresses individual needs through instructional software, high-interest literature, and direct instruction on reading skills. The Read 180 program is offered in grades 3-12 in our schools.  Read 180 Stage A is designed for students in Grades 4-6 and in some cases Grade 3 students may be served.  At the elementary level, the Read 180 program will help provide support services identified for children in Tier 2 and/or Tier 3 services.  At the middle school and high school level, the Read 180 Stage B and Stage C programs are offered through the middle school and high school Reading Lab courses.  The reading lab services students who have been identified, using standardized test scores, grades and teacher recommendations, as struggling readers.
