Program Description
The Emergency Management Institute Residential Education Program
improves emergency management practices among state, local and tribal
government managers, and Federal officials, in response to emergencies and
disasters. Programs embody the Comprehensive Emergency Management System by
unifying the elements of management common to all emergencies: planning,
preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery.
General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be or have
been an emergency response worker, or you must currently study or intend to
pursue the field of emergency management.
