Motivation to Serve - II
Motivation to Serve - II

“The Academy’s mission is something that resonates with me as it speaks of traditions, our country, and humanity. It is easy to find almost everything else at other civilian or military schools; however, it is the Coast Guard alone that has the service to humanity. This service is something I experienced for myself last year when I traveled to New Orleans to help with Katrina relief. The trip changed me and it was then that I knew I want to help humanity, just as the Coast Guard does in its job, saving countless lives….”
