How to Obtain Construction Contracts

Construction contractors wanting to do business with the Corps should get their name on the bidders list of each district they would consider contracting with. EP 415-1-5 "Construction Contracts - How to obtain construction contracts with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers" describes the procedures used by the Corps to procure construction services and describes the procedure a contractor should follow in seeking a construction contract with the Corps. Copies of the EP can be obtained from the contracting office of each district or can be downloaded from EP 415-1-5.

The EP explains that a prospective contractor must send a completed SF 129 to each district office with which he desires to do business. Copies of SF 129 can be obtained from the contracting office of each district or can be downloaded from SF 129. Detailed information on each district can be obtained by visiting their home page. All district home pages can be accessed through the Headquarters home page HQUSACE.
