Richard “Rick” Klomp MS LPC, is a Health Scientist who works on CDC’s Disaster,
Terrorism & Mental Health Team in the Division of Violence Prevention in the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control.

Objectives for the conference call:
To provide an overview of the mental health issues surrounding recent hurricane-related events Determine what actions need to be taken before, during, and after an event Address mental health issues in various audiences (people housed in shelters, nursing homes; chronic mental health patients, etc)
