Program Description
The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) for low-income households includes the installation of weather stripping, caulking, storm windows, insulation, and other materials as well as burner testing, tune-up, and minor repairs. Funds are provided by the U.S. Department of Energy and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the State of Massachusetts, your household's annual income before taxes must not exceed $20,420 if one person lives in the household; $27,380 if two people live in the household; $34,340 if three people live in the household; $41,300 if four people live in the household; $48,260 if five people live in the household; $55,220 if six people live in the household; $62,180 if seven people live in the household; and $69,140 if more than seven people live in the household.
