The Office of the Assistant Administrator provides executive leadership and oversight for the effective management of all programs, resources, Agency-wide initiatives, and external requirements for the Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity. Two Agency-wide initiatives that this office is currently implementing are:
Diversity Program
ODEO is currently working on developing an Agencywide Framework for Diversity and Inclusion in partnership with the NASA Center EO Offices and Diversity Managers. This effort includes designing strategies for the development and management of diversity initiatives at the Agency and Center levels, as well as putting in place a structure to provide assistance to the Centers in furtherance of their diversity and inclusion efforts. Conflict Management Program (CMP)
CMP is a comprehensive Agency-wide program to more strategically address workplace conflict through early engagement, enhanced communication and conflict resolution skills without the use of third party intervention.
