I was an employee for a certain trucking company that had me listed as an independant contractor for approximately two years. I was forced to sign a contract stating an independant operating status mid ten-yer. As I read through the document I realized something wasn't right about the contract. My check was with-held until I signed the contract. My question is, does me signing the contract disqualify me from pursuing unemployment compensation?
