| The grantee for our Head Start program is a school district. Our Head Start students automatically qualify for free and reduced breakfast and lunch. Does our school district qualify to receive reimbursement for our Head Start students even though they are not 5 years of age. Our school personnel understand the rule to state that if they are under the age of 5 (kindergarten) then we cannot receive reimbursement for them through the free and reduced breakfast and lunch program? Is this correct? I appreciate your guidance in this matter.
