| Topic: Minimum age of a headstart teacher and teacher assistant. I have had an inquiry regarding the minimum age of a headstart teacher's assistant. This particular headstart interviewed a 17-year old and was wondering if she could work as a teacher's assistant. I have checked the Performance Standards, and also the ECLKC site using the search box. I cannot find anything in writing that specifies staff ages.
