Traffic Meters 101

    Traffic meters are one of the tools used to estimate recreation visitation and use patterns. This training module provides basic information on: meter purpose, types of meters, field survey results, meter location, best practices and lessons learned, and references. After reviewing the training module, you may test your traffic meter knowledge with an online test. In addition, Continuing Education credits are available via a Point of Contact listed at the end of the test.
