Geocache Headquarters POC Geocaching is considered a high tec outdoor treasure hunting game in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or other navigational technique to hide and look for containers called "geocaches" or "caches". Geocaching is an emerging family oriented activity that is a low-impact form of recreation, requiring little or no O&M costs and requires no special facilities. The recreational opportunities geocaching provides supports the President’s Initiative for a Healthier US and blends with our partners in our “Get Fit with US” campaign.
