NEADA Produces Consumer Protection Resource Guide

The National Energy Assistance Directors’ Association (NEADA) has released Public Service Commission Consumer Protection Rules and Regulations: A Resource Guide, which was prepared for it by staff from the National Consumer Law Center. The report provides state-by-state comparisons of regulations in the following areas: utility service termination timeframes, illness, age and disability termination protections, harsh weather termination protections, payment plan and security deposit requirements and late payment fees.
