The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is pleased to announce that they will be hosting a Stakeholders' Meeting on December 16, 2008 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in Rockville, MD to solicit feedback regarding Section 152(b) of the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008 (Public Law 110-275), which provides Medicare coverage for Kidney Disease Patient Education Services for individuals with Stage IV chronic kidney disease (CKD). If you would like to attend, please complete the attached registration form and then select the Register Now button at the top of the form. Registration is open until capacity is reached or until 5 PM on December 8, 2008, whichever comes first. Formal, confirmed registration is required; drop-ins will not be allowed admittance due to Federal Government security requirements.Due to the anticipated interest and the limited space available, we request that you limit your group's representation at this meeting to 2 individuals per organization. Once a registration form has been submitted, an e-mail will be sent within 2 business days notifying the sender if their registration is confirmed or if the meeting has reached capacity. If registration is confirmed, an information packet including the agenda and logistical information will also be sent to the attendee.
