NLIEC, NFFN Combine Conferences in 2008

The boards of directors of the National Low Income Energy Consortium (NLIEC) and National Fuel Funds Network (NFFN) have selected the name for their first combined conference, which will be held on June 16-18, 2008, at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in Denver.

In past years, the NFFN conducted its annual conference over a two-day period in early June, and NLIEC then hosted its annual National Low Income Energy Conference on the three following days. In 2008, however, the two organizations are joining forces to hold a single three-day event: the National Energy and Utility Affordability Conference. Their combined conference will be partnered with the annual meeting of the National Energy Assistance Directors’ Association, to be held June 15-16 at the Adam’s Mark.

The three groups’ collective events will continue to be known as the Joint Low Income Energy Conferences.

For more information on the 2007 conference, including copies of some conference presentations, see the NLIEC website.
