AGREEMENT NO. ADECA-MOWA-95-1


AGREEMENT

The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (hereinafter called ADECA) and the MOWA Band of Choctaw Indians (hereinafter called Tribe) agree, effective Fiscal Year 1995 and until further notice; that the MOWA Band of Choctaw Indians will receive .317 percent (.00317) of the State's gross regular Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) allotment.

Payment shall be made on receipt of the first quarter LIHEAP Grant Award issued by the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services(HHS)

The Tribe will serve eligible Choctaw households in Baldwin, Choctaw, Mobile and Washington Counties.

The Tribe agrees to notify ADECA if the Tribe exhausts all funds and to coordinate and confirm with ADECA those households not served with Tribal funds. ADECA agrees to serve those households as long as LIHEAP funds are available.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, ADECA and the Tribe have executed this Agreement as of the 1st day of October, 1994.
