Wyoming State Funds

On March 23, 2005, Governor Dave Freudenthal signed legislation that provided $3 million from the general fund to the department of family services for the low-income home energy assistance program. The funds were available for the remainder of FY 2006 and FY 2007. The legislation stated that households with incomes that do not exceed the greater of 215 percent of federal poverty guidelines or 60 percent of state median income were eligible for the funds.
