Vermont Fuel Funds

  • The WARMTH Support Program, founded in 1986, uses funds donated by concerned Vermonters to help low-income families pay their energy costs. Administrative costs are funded by participating fuel dealers and utilities. WARMTH funds are available for emergency situations - when a household has exhausted its supply of fuel or faces disconnection of utility services and has not been able to find sufficient help through other channels.

  • The Shareheat Fund is funded by one utility's customers and shareholders who match each dollar donated up to a maximum of $50,000 a year.
