Attached please find a copy of the Notice of Availability of FY 2003 Social Services Discretionary Funds for the ORR Standing Announcement for Services to Recently Arrived Refugees, published in the Federal Register on May 9, 2001 (66 FR 23705).
This notice announces an additional FY 2003 closing date for applications to the ORR Standing Announcement for Services to Recently Arrived Refugees, Category One – Preferred Communities. Please note that eligible applicants for Category One are agencies that currently resettle refugees under a Reception and Placement Cooperative Agreement with the Department of State or with the Department of Justice.
ORR intends to provide additional funds to meet the needs of the Somali Bantu. The closing date for applications is September 12, 2003
