Attached for your information and reference is an informal summary of proceedings at the December 16-17, 2002 ORR Mid-Term Consultation. The summary is also being posted on the ORR Website.

This document reflects conditions and situations at the time of the consultation. Since December 17, ORR has continued to monitor and take action on consultation agenda matters, such as:

Unaccompanied Alien Minors Program,
Marriage and Family Enrichment Projects,
Somali Bantu Arrivals,
Social Service Allocations.

ORR will provide updated information on these issues as it becomes available.

The attached write-ups are based upon notes taken by reporters during the consultation and should not be construed as formal statements of Government or ORR policy.
