   DoDEA Regulation 8000.1 - February 18, 2005 Explains the use of the Government Purchase Card expenditures on appropriated funds and is limited to official Payment Cardholders and Cardholders. The Government Purchase Card may be used to purchase authorized supplies, equipment, and non-personal services up to the micro-purchase threshold (currently $2,500 and $2,000 for construction).

   DoDEA AI 8000.5 - dated April 14, 2005 Explains that conference sites shall be selected to ensure conference costs are kept to a minimum and that strict fiscal responsibility is exercised.

   DoDEA AI 8000.6 - dated March 23, 2005 Explains that there should be no preferential treatment to any contractor/vendor, and there should be no commitment to buy products or services prior to a competitive procurement.

   DoDEA AI 8000.7 - dated May 4, 2005 Explains when requiring support above the simplified acquisition threshold ($100,000), priority should be given to the use of procurement sources available first within DoDEA, second from other DoD procurement offices, and finally from non-DoD/Federal procurement offices.
