This project is conducted by a group
led by the United Steel, Paper and Forestry, Rubber
Manufacturing, Energy, Allied Industrial and Service
Workers International Union; with Queens College of
the City University of New York and Creative Pollution
Solutions, Inc. Free of charge, eligible workers can
receive a medical exam, including chest X-ray and breathing
tests, and an educational workshop.
Workers from this site who do not live
in close proximity to one of the above clinics will
be referred for medical screening at a clinic near their
residence.
