What is the Gateway?
The NRM Gateway takes Corps of Engineers staff into the world of the Corps' recreation, environmental stewardship and environmental compliance programs. This tool will improve communication within the NRM community and preserve the organization's institutional knowledge.

The NRM Gateway is a staged development sponsored by the Recreation Management Support Program (RMSP) under the direction of the Recreation Leadership Advisory Team (RLAT). The first stage of Gateway development focuses on "Recreation for an Internal Audience." Within the first stage, recreation subject matter experts that are a part of existing Programs and Committees were identified. These experts are providing information to the Gateway during periodic workshops. As waves of information become available on the site, field notices will be released.

    More to come:
Future stages in development will include "Environmental Compliance," "Environmental Stewardship" (also known as Natural Resources Stewardship), and "Knowledge-based Management Systems." In anticipation of information for these areas, this Gateway provides related links within the areas of Environmental Compliance and Environmental Stewardship.

Comments and Content for the overall Gateway can be made to the Project Leader: Kathleen Perales
