The evidence is clear -- regular physical activity over months and years produces long-term health benefits and reduces the risk of many diseases. The more physically active you are, the more health benefits you gain.”

February 25, 2008:  While Chair of the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness, Secretary Leavitt visits the Christ House primary health care center in Washington D.C. Secretary Leavitt’s term as Chair came to a close in March of 2008.
