To assist in training foodservice staff about school food safety, CDC offers the Food-Safe Schools Action Guide Train-the-Trainer Manual for School Foodservice Personnel. The manual consists of five PowerPoint presentations and a PDF document that provides step-by-step instructions on how to conduct a training session about food safety to foodservice personnel. The manual also provides guidance to trainers about adult learning theory and how to deliver an effective training.
