Native Americans Programs

Native Americans Programs

Native Americans Programs provide funding to American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians and other Native American Pacific Islanders
including Native Samoans. These programs provide a broad range of
economic development, social development and governance projects,
as well as environmental regulatory enhancement projects and language preservation planning and implementation projects.

Grants must support locally determined and designated projects that address community needs and goals.

These are competitive (discretionary) grants. Entities eligible to apply include Federally recognized Tribes, non-Federally recognized Tribes, Staterecognized Tribes, Alaskan Native Villages, Tribal consortia, urban/offreservation Indian organizations and Native American non-profit organizations.
