This website provides access to full-text research journals, subject-specific databases, and a virtual reading room including bibliographies of the library's recent purchases, Commander's recommended reading lists, a links to Corps publications. From this site, you may also search the Library's catalog or "Ask a Librarian" to help you find needed information.
The purpose of PONDS is to provide military installations and neighboring communities with a central information source for better understanding land use conflicts to avoid constraints to the mission and disruption to local communities.
Sustainable Management Approaches and Revitalization Tools - electronic, known as SMARTe, is an open-source (that means it's free!), web-based (you can get to it from any computer with an internet connection), decision support system for developing and evaluating future reuse scenarios for potentially contaminated land.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Library Program maintains more than 41 libraries across the United States and abroad, including four research libraries within the Engineering Research Development Center (ERDC). The USACE Library Program is composed of libraries in the Agency's Headquarters, Division and District Offices, Research Centers, and specialized laboratories located throughout the country. Some USACE libraries are open to the public.
