Interested in the future of Grays Harbor Navigation? Come to a Public Workshop Feb. 24

Contact: Patricia Graesser, Corps of Engineers, at (206) 764-3760 Feb. 10, 2004 SEATTLE--Come participate in a discussion that will shape the future of how the Grays Harbor federal navigation project is maintained at a Feb. 24 public workshop at the Port of Grays Harbor Port Commission Chambers. The Army Corps of Engineers and ECO Resource Group are hosting the public workshop, where participants will be invited to share ideas about the current situation in Grays Harbor and discuss criteria for selecting a long-term navigation maintenance strategy. The workshop is part of a Corps of Engineers effort to develop a long-term management strategy for the federal Grays Harbor navigation project. By providing an opportunity for the public and agencies to collaborate on Grays Harbor navigation issues, the community and Corps will be able to work together to come up with the best possible long-term strategy. The workshop will run from 1-7 p.m. at the Port of Grays Harbor, Port Commission Chambers, 111 S. Wooding Street, Aberdeen, Wash., and will be facilitated by ECO Resource Group for the Corps of Engineers. There will be a scheduled meal break.
