ACF Honor Awards

Coy (left), presents Carol Carter Walker with the "Assistant Secretary’s 2005 Honor Award for Exemplary Leadership" and with the "Assistant Secretary’s 2005 Grand Finale Award" for significant contributions in the final year of government service.

In receiving this award, Walker was recognized for her sustained and superior contributions to the administrative and business processes of the Administration for Children and Families (ACF). She has served the public for 38 years. This is her final year of service.

Awards were also presented for volunteer service, organizational team achievement, partnering for excellence and to outstanding contractors. The "One HHS Award" was also presented.

The awards celebrate special contributions and achievements in helping achieve ACF’s strategic goals and key priorities. This year’s event took place on October 6 at the National Transportation Safety Board Conference Center in Washington, D.C [click here for additional photos from this event].
