ACF Everyday Heroes

HHS Assistant Secretary for Children and Families Wade F. Horn, Ph.D., addressed federal staff at the HHS Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) kickoff event on October 20.

CFC is made up of local non-profit and charitable organizations that raise funds in the federal workplace across the country.

CFC’s fundraising model is the largest and most successful model in the world. In 2004, federal employees raised more than $256 million for charitable causes.

ACF employees are encouraged to be “everyday heroes” by giving generously to non-profit and charitable organizations through the 2005 campaign.
