ACF efforts to help evacuees of Hurricane Katrina and Rita

ACF Assistant Secretary Wade F. Horn, Ph.D., met with the City of San Antonio's director of the Department of Community Initiatives, Dennis Campa, to discuss ACF efforts to help evacuees of Hurricane Katrina and Rita.

Dr. Horn and Mr. Campa discussed San Antonio's involvement in providing human services to the evacuees from the hurricanes, such as contractual arrangements in providing transportation to reunite with family members, case management, housing, referrals for mental health, subsidized child care and ID recovery.
