Mr. Berrios is the Chief Information Officer for the US Army Corps of Engineers and serves as the principal advisor to the Corps Commanding General on information technology issues. He is responsible for all aspects of information resource management and information technology for the Corps.

He has over 29 years of government experience as both a civilian and an Army Officer in the fields of software & systems engineering, automation operations support, force readiness, wargaming & simulations, cost analysis optimization, and aviation while serving in various supervisory, staff, and operational positions within the Department of Defense (DoD).

He held various supervisory positions within the Defense Information Systems Agency including managing the development, maintenance, fielding, and operational support of the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES), and the Global Status of Resources and Training System (GSORTS) within the Global Command and Control System (GCCS). He also served as the Chief, DoD Standards Assistance Department, Center for Standards, Defense Information Systems Agency, where his primary responsibility was to develop and maintain the Joint Technical Architecture (JTA) and certifying major DoD automated information and C2 systems.

Mr. Berrios is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff Course and holds a Masters Degree in Management Science and is a native of New York who makes his home in Springfield, Virginia.
