October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Wellness-Fitness Center is hosting two educational lectures on Oct. 28 at 11:30 a.m. to noon, and from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. in the building’s main floor conference room, located in the lobby. Guests are encouraged to bring their lunch.Flu shots are schedule Nov. 12 – 13, from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. in the Wellness-Fitness Center as well. The Wellness-Fitness Center, located on the 14th floor, is a full-service fitness facility. It offers a variety of programs and activities to include, but not limited to, group fitness classes (14 weekly), fitness assessments and counseling, fitness training, cardiovascular equipment, free weight and universal equipment, and table tennis. For guest convenience, lockers and showers are available for daily use. The facility is always open and is available to use free-of-charge to all U.S. Army Corps of Engineers personnel, contractors and students after an initial fitness assessment.
