Straub Construction of Bonsall, Ca. recognized the Los Angeles District for partnering in a project which was named one of Americas top construction projects for 2004. Straub earned an Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Excellence in Construction Eagle Award for its quality design and construction of the Vandenberg AFB Missile Transport Bridge. Straub partnered with the the Los Angeles District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Simon Wong Engineering on the project which won the Infrastructure/Heavy category. Projects were judged on their complexity, attractiveness, unusual challenges, completion time, workmanship, safety and budget. (Photo by Jay Field)
