CORPS AWARDS $3.8 MILLION REPAIR CONTRACT AT BASE Los Angeles – The Army Corps of Engineers’ Los Angeles District has awarded a $3.8 million contract to the small business firm Straub Construction, Inc. of Bonsall, Calif. to repair the exterior of the 30th Space Wing Headquarters building 10577 at Vandenberg Air Force Base. The repair work includes replacement of windows and exterior doors, installation of a redesigned landscape and the construction of an atrium. Under various federal laws, the Corps awards contracts on a regular basis for work related to its many projects.
