RFMIS-RD is the redesigned U.S. Army Corps of Engineers automated information system for military and civil facilities and other real property held under lease agreements. The system supports approximately 1,000 users from the Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Army, Marine Corps and Navy Recruiting Commands, the Corps’ Real Estate community, and the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management. RFMIS-RD, used Corps-wide by District Real Estate offices, provides a uniform method of recording, storing, retrieving, and reporting information related to the Corps’ leased property. It supports both internal and external customers of the Corps. The Real Estate Systems National Center (RESNC), a forward operating element of the Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, located in the U.S. Army Engineer District, Mobile, is responsible for managing all real estate automated information systems. RESNC has partnered with the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center’s Information Technology Laboratory to reengineer the system to take advantage of the latest technologies. |
