Text Box: Midshipmen Group Study Program
United States Naval Academy
Class of 1963 Center for Academic Excellence

The MGSP program targets traditionally difficult academic courses—those that have a high rate of D or F grades and withdrawals—and provides regularly scheduled, out-of-class, peer-facilitated sessions. Students can work together to compare notes, discuss important concepts, and develop better study strategies. Each session is facilitated by a MGSP leader, a competent student who as previously taken the course, been recommended by the course instructor, and chosen by the Academic Center.
