The National Recreation Reservation Service™ (NRRS™) provides “one-stop” reservation shopping to the public for a wide range of Federal recreation areas, facilities and activities, including the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), USDA Forest Service, and US Department of the Interior (including at least the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and Bureau of Reclamation). ReserveAmerica of Ballston Spa, New York, won the contract to develop, implement, and operate the NRRS™. This service provides multiple sales channels (public telephone, Internet, and selected parks), allowing for recreation related sales, permits, on-site operations and management, and managing content for a web-based portal which shall include recreation information for all federal land management agencies.
