What Are the Functions of NEDRC?

NEDRC performs a variety of functions in an effort to make available the data collected from surveys maintained by NCES.

• NEDRC responds to requests for specific analyses and tabulations on the data sets maintained by NCES.
• NEDRC provides assistance to on-site researchers.
• NEDRC develops standardized tables, graphic materials, and detailed reports of data contained in the data sets in anticipation of data needs of education policy makers and researchers. See current tables in NEDRC table library
• NEDRC provides limited programming analysis and other support functions.
