8 Sep 2008:

  • Automated Tools button - Annual Rating and Early Annual Ratings:

2 Sep 2008:

  • Automated Tools button:
    • Two tools to assist in making payout distribution decisions are available (Equitable Compensation Curve (ECC) and Enhanced Workbench (EWB)), each with a User Guide. Available under "Other Tools" at the bottom of the page.
  • Bulletins button:
    • Payout Distribution Tools bulletin has been added (29 Aug 2008) (also available under the Pay Pool Management button)
  • Compensation button:
    • Link to the Army Pay Setting Guide has been temporarily disabled, the Guide is being updated.
  • Staffing button:
    • Several changes to Staffing Overview items, including temporary appointments, grade retention, definition of promotion.
  • Videos and Presentations buttion:
    • Added 2008 NSPS Leadership Conference.

  • Regulations:
    • SC1960 Workforce Shaping has been removed as it was made obsolete by the revisions to the Implementing Issuances on 10 Jun 2008 (a copy is still available on the Archives page).

16 Jun 2008:

  • NSPS Main Page: Updated with a "what's new" section containing a running list of changes made in the CPOL NSPS web pages.
  • Alerts: We have set up an AKO group called "NSPS Updates," to which anyone with an AKO user ID can subscribe. Subscribers will receive an email notification when changes are made to the NSPS pages. See the "Click here to subscribe to updates" link at the top right of the NSPS home page for instructions.
  • Buttons on the NSPS page: Navigation using the buttons on the left side of the NSPS page has been changed. You can now click on the main functional button (Staffing, Compensation, etc.) and get right to the "Files and Updates" section for that area - you do not need to use the fly-out menus. Overview sections have been retained but are accessed with a separate link.
  • NSPS Bulletins: Transition Manager bulletins are being renamed to "NSPS Bulletins" since they are often applicable to a wider audience. For convenience, all current bulletins have been copied to a new button ("Bulletins") on the NSPS page on CPOL. They will also be shown on the appropriate functional tab (e.g., under Performance Management, Pay Pool Management, etc.).
  • Automated Tools: A new button ("Automated Tools") has been added. This button contains software, user guides, and how-to information on using the suite of NSPS automated tools. These have been moved from the Performance Management and Pay Pool Management tabs.
  • Regulations button: Implementing Issuances and Army Interim NSPS Policy and Instruction documents have been added to the Regulations button.

13 Jun 2008:

  • Revised Implementing Issuances were signed by the Deputy Secretary of Defense on 10 Jun 2008 (subchapters 1910, 1911, 1920, 1930, and 1940). They are available on the Regulations page.

30 May 2008:

  • The Army NSPS website is undergoing a redesign to better serve YOU!

13 Dec 2007:

  • Army employees can now submit their NSPS questions directly to the Army NSPS Program Management Office. If you cannot find the answers to your questions on CPOL, visit Ask Army NSPS [url: http://cpol.army.mil/library/general/nsps/ask_armynsps.html]. Please ensure that you provide your accurate contact information to facilitate response.
