Many Federal agencies fund youth service organizations. These include the Departments of Education, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Justice, and Labor. The Administration for Children and Families’ Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) funds programs for runaway and homeless youth, children of prisoners, and youth at risk for early sexual activity. FYSB’s grant programs are as follows: - Runaway and Homeless Youth Programs
- Basic Center Program
- Transitional Living Program for Older Homeless Youth, including Maternity Group Homes for pregnant and parenting youth
- Education and Prevention Services to Reduce Sexual Abuse of Runaway, Homeless, and Street Youth Program (Street Outreach Program)
