Sound Management of Chemicals Meeting Being Held in Chicago |

| Chicago, 25/11/1997 – The North American Working Group on the Sound Management of Chemicals is holding its next regular meeting on December 9 and 10, 1997 at the Palmer House Hotel, 17 East Monroe Street in Chicago, Illinois. Progress of the initiative will be reviewed and priorities for future action will be discussed. The meeting is open to the public on December 9, depending on space availability. The public session is designed to provide an opportunity for participants to reflect on the successes and failures of the initiative to date, and to offer suggestions as to how to make this initiative more effective in the future. The Working Group, its Task Forces and other governmental participants will meet on December 10 to consider input from the public sessions and to consider and act upon the advice that was received.
