The Department of the Navy has released a new version of its World Wide Web Policy, SECNAV INSTRUCTION 5720.47A. This release allows academic institutions to post lists of department faculty memembers only. Please see the FAQ I am a member of the faculty. What information may I post on the public web site? What information my I not post on the public web site?
Now that faculty lists may appear on a publically available web site, all other names and lists of names are still restricted as before. Visit the FAQ What information may appear on a public department web page?
