Q: Who do I contact if I need new software and/or hardware?
A: Please contact your division chief, principal, superintendent or appropriate supervisor to make a request regarding software or hardware that will need to be installed on the DoDDS-E network or workstations. The request will then be forwarded to the IT Division for evaluation and approval.
Q: What is DoDDS-E policy on Internet use?
A: We adhere to DoDEA policy outlined in DoDEA Administrative Instruction 6600.1 dated July 15, 2005.
Q: Am I allowed to install software from work on my home computer if I am going to be working at home?
A: Unfortunately, the only software that is authorized for DoDEA employees' home use is one of 2 corporate anti-virus programs, Norton or McAfee. Please make a request through your supervisor to obtain either of these programs.
