HHS’s Administration for Children and Families was joined by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the National Head Start Association to celebrate bringing great American art to all 20,000 Head Start centers throughout the nation. The goal of Picturing America SM is to help all Americans understand the history of our country and its diverse people and places. Throughout Head Start classrooms the art will be used as an educational tool to help meet child development goals. To learn more visit http://eclkc.ohs.acf.hhs.gov/hslc.
