Mission Statement
The Civil Works Operations Division program operates and maintains projects that provide river and harbor navigation, flood damage reduction, water supply, hydroelectric power, recreation, environmental restoration, and wildlife protection; protects the Nation's waterways and wetlands; and undertakes disaster relief and recovery work.

Communities of Practice are the practitioners view of the program areas.  It is the content area where policies, programs, practices and people are Integrated.  The true community of practice, are the people that operate our facilities and are responsible to the public for stewardship of the resources entrusted to us.
