The mission of the Programs Integration Division (PID) is to develop and defend the annual Civil Works Budget, to support the Major Subordinate Commands in resolution of project issues pending in Headquarters, and to provide program management policy and guidance on the Appropriation program.  The Division provides procedures and guidance for program and project management functions and is responsible for career development and training for the program/project management community within the Corps of Engineers.

The Division contributes to the campaign goals of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, namely to support stability, reconstruction, and homeland security operations, to develop sound water resources solutions, and to enhance life-cycle infrastructure management, and participates in the attraction, development, and retention of a world-class workforce.
